The Havre de Grace Maritime Museum and the Lighthouse Keeper’s House Grounds will hold the annual Secret Garden Tour, garden mart and plant sale this weekend, rain or shine.

The Gardens de Grace Club is hosting its 17th annual Secret Garden Tour on Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. This self-guided tour in historic Havre de Grace showcases a variety of private gardens from a rock garden featuring an extensive hellebore collection; a native plant meadow along the Chesapeake with an apiary; a newly-designed pollinator garden; a master gardener’s friendship garden; and more.

In addition to the tour, the garden mart and plant sale will be held on the lower level of the museum and on the Lighthouse Keeper’s House Grounds on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Native plants, perennials, herbs, annuals and vegetable plants will be available for purchase.

The garden mart will also feature nature-inspired artisans and craft vendors, garden décor, kids’ activities and food vendors. Master gardeners will be available to answer questions. The Environmental Center will also be holding an open house, and there will be a used book sale.

Plein Air artists will have their finished artwork on display at the Maritime Museum Gallery.

Proceeds benefit the educational programs at the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum.
