The Harford County Department of Public Works will be closing the Cherry Hill Road bridge over Deer Creek in Street beginning on or about Tuesday, Sept. 7, for two to three weeks.
This closure to all traffic, including emergency vehicles, is necessary to replace the timber on the bridge deck, according to a county news release. The bridge is at the intersection of Route 24 (Rocks Road) adjacent to the 4-H camp.
The county suggests making other arrangements if you plan to travel on this roadway.
A map of this and other planned county road closures is on the county government website at https://www.harfordcountymd.gov/1164/Road-Reports.
