Harford County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 1900 block of Edgewater Drive around 6:08 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the Ford F-150 pickup and one occupant of the apartment were both taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air as a precaution for minor injuries, said Kyle Andersen, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office.
At 6:08 a.m., deputies responded to an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Edgewater Dr for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a car into a building. The driver and one occupant from the apartment were transported to the hospital, as a precaution, for minor injury.
It was unclear how many people were living in the building, but Andersen said they have been relocated until the building can be repaired.
The structural integrity of the building was not compromised, Andersen said.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash, but the preliminary investigation indicated it may have been the result of a medical incident, according to the sheriff’s office. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
