Sgt. Alfred B. Hilton playground dedicated
Harford County Executive Barry Glassman and other dignitaries officially dedicated the new playground at the Alfred B. Hilton Memorial Park on Gravel Hill Road in Havre de Grace Monday, January 25, 2021. The new playground features an information panel about Sgt. Hilton as well as a Flag-themed slide, soldier with face cutout, log ladder, play cannon, and more.

Janice East Moorehead Grant of Aberdeen has spent much of adult life battling for civil rights, working to end segregation in Harford County schools and in other parts of the country. At age 87, the lifelong teacher remains actively involved in her community.
