A woman was injured and a family displaced after a Joppa home caught fire early Saturday, fire officials said.
Firefighters were called at 12:56 a.m. to a single family home on Neptune Drive, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. About 41 firefighters responded to the one-alarm blaze, and it was placed under control in about 20 minutes, fire officials said. The scene was cleared in about two hours.
One woman suffered a minor injury and was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. No other injuries were reported. The displaced family of four is being assisted by the Harford County disaster assistance.
The state fire marshal's office is investigating the cause and origin of the blaze.
