Six injured, including two minors, in crash in Queen Anne's County

Six people, including two minors, were injured in a crash at Route 301 and Route 405 in Queen Anne's County on Sunday, State Police said.

A 40-year-old Wilmington, Del. man was driving a black 2017 Chevrolet Silverado with four passengers, ages 36, 18, 14 and 10, on Route 405 just before 5 p.m., police said. The driver failed to yield the right-of-way at the Route 301 intersection and was hit by a Honda Accord driven by a 31-year-old Easton man, police said.

The driver of the Honda and the 36-year-old woman in the Chevy were flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said. The rest of the people in the Chevy were taken to Chester River Medical Center. All have been released except the woman, who is in stable condition.

The driver of the Chevy was charged with traffic citations. Neither speed nor alcohol was determined to have contributed to the crash, police said.
