More closures to the westbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge are expected next week, as maintenance work continues, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
The westbound span will close at 9 p.m. each night Monday through Wednesday, and not reopen until 7 a.m. the following mornings, officials said.
During those times, two-way traffic will operate on the eastbound span.
A single lane of the westbound span will also be closed Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., officials said.
Brief lane closures will also occur Monday through Thursday as workers are transported to and from the bridge.
