One of the best things about the 30-man Royal Rumble match is some of the WWE Legends who appear as surprise entrants. But there's a name that could be in this year's match that would absolutely blow the roof off the arena.
Late Saturday night, none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson tweeted that he was in Philadelphia, the site of this year's Royal Rumble:
He could just be there for unrelated business, but the last time The Rock tweeted something like this, he showed up at WWE Raw in Brooklyn for a face-off with Rusev.
If the Rock is an entrant in the match, could he be a potential winner? Maybe, but I have my doubts. WWE had certainly planned at some point a WrestleMania main event between The Rock and Brock Lesnar, but Rocky's filming schedule didn't allow it.
He's a busy man, so I can't imagine he's got three months to do another WrestleMania build-up (although, granted, he and Brock couldn't show up on Raw again between now and 'Mania and that would still be a huge match), but a one-night apperance at the Rumble seems like something he'd be willing to squeeze in.
Either way, if the Rock shows up at tonight's Royal Rumble, that'll be quite a shocker to a lot of people and, dare I say, electrifying.
