Liberty's softball team won its fourth game in a row and moved into second place in the county standings by beating rival South Carroll 4-0 on Thursday in Eldersburg.

Kaya Holmes had a double, two hits, and two RBIs for the Lions (9-5, 6-3 county), while Brooke Fowlkes had a triple and scored twice. Katlyn Davis doubled for the Cavaliers (8-4, 6-3).
