Nate Kent chats with us about Liberty's 2-0 start, the team's communication and more.

Liberty is going into Week 3 at 2-0 — what’s been working so well for you guys?

“We’ve just been confident and we’ve worked hard in the offseason to get to this point. We’re going to build off the Week 2 win, we had a good practice yesterday, going to have a good practice again today and see how that takes us to tomorrow.”

How have you guys been working through the delays and postponements the county has been having early in the season?

“Every week we’ve been ready to play on Friday, but we’ve kept that same energy into the next day. As of now, we’re used to it an we’re going to stay high and capitalize off of what we did last week. We’re ready for it, it’s nothing new.”

What’s been working well for this team, communication wise, so far this year?

“We don’t really have many numbers on our team so we’re all really tight together and the coaches all work with us and it’s not really hard. There’s not much separation with us.”

What is your favorite television show and why?

“I don’t really watch TV, but I guess, I liked ‘Hard Knocks.’ That was a good one.”
