This week’s Q&A is with Liberty sophomore midfielder Alanna Wray.
What has your experience been like with the Liberty girls lacrosse team so far?
"This experience playing on this team has been very welcoming, really just an encouraging environment for me to play in. I've leaned a lot from past players who have left and people who I've been building up each year with."
How did you get started in lacrosse and who helped you get your foot in the door with the sport?
"[I learned] from my dad. He played lacrosse in high school and he really put it on me, my brother and sister when we were really young. I started in kindergarten and I haven't really stopped since. I just loved the game form the start and wanted to continue getting better each year so when I switched to club, I made a pretty big jump but it was a really great learning experience for me to grow as a player."
How did the transition to varsity as a freshman go for you?
"As a freshman it was really fun to get in and play with older people. It was a little scary at first but I had my two other freshman friends and we were going through the same thing and we just kind of worked together through any issues we had."
If you could have dinner with any celebrity in the world, who would it be and why?
