Century and Manchester Valley moved their girls soccer game Wednesday to Blandair Park in Columbia to take advantage of an artificial turf field, but the weather played a factor anyway.

The Mavericks led 1-0 early in the second half when the game was halted because of lightning, and it was eventually suspended. The game will resume at a later date to be determined.

Briana Bush gave Man Valley the lead on a free kick late in the first half.
