Running back Jackson Boothby went for more than 100 rushing yards scored a pair of touchdowns that led Manchester Valley’s football team to a 13-3 victory against Francis Scott Key on Thursday night in Uniontown.
Boothby, who scored the only touchdown last week in the Mavericks’ 9-0 victory against Winters Mill, helped his team improve to 2-2 on the season. Francis Scott Key (0-4) broke a scoreless tie with a field goal from Keith LaPierre in the third quarter, but the Eagles couldn’t muster any more offense.

Highlights: Drew Huber fueled the Falcons (2-1) with seven goals and four assists, and Jackson Graham netted three goals. Gerstell opens MIAA conference play next Thursday against Glenelg Country School.

Highlights: On Wednesday, Abby Morrison had three goals and Brynn Knight came up with 10 saves but the Falcons (1-4) fell just short against a nationally ranked foe. Emily Messinese and Kennedy Major had two goals apiece, and Kylie Redman added a goal.
