Carroll Varsity Roundup (Feb. 22): Zepp, Fowler help SC mount county win over Century

South Carroll’s Ashleigh Zepp and Bethany Fowler paved the way for the Cavaliers in a 58-40 Carroll County Athletic League victory over Century at Century on Friday.

Zepp scored 18 points and added six rebounds and five steals. Fowler had 17 points, seven boards and five steals for the Cavs (10-11, 7-5 Carroll County Athletic League).

Jess Diorio contributed a team-high 13 points for the Knights (5-15, 0-12).

Recap: At Winfield, Carter Truby scored 25 points to help the Knights win their 10th straight game. Matt Huber contributed 13 points for the Knights (18-3, 11-1 county). Andrew Warehime notched 18 points and Dylan Graham added 12 for the Cavaliers (8-14, 6-6).
