Rachel Thiem scored a game-high 24 points to lead Liberty past host Manchester Valley 53-41 on Wednesday in Carroll County Athletic League girls basketball action.
Jordan Nastos added six points for the Lions, who improved to 8-11 (5-5 in the CCAL). Liberty has won five of its last eight games.
Josey Klingenberg had 12 points and eight steals for the Mavericks (6-11, 2-8), while Amelia Saunders collected 11 points, six rebounds, and four steals. Tessa Boswell netted nine points, and Erin Piper grabbed seven rebounds.
