South Carroll topped Westminster 65-38 on Friday night in Carroll County Athletic League boys basketball action.
Karson Pavlik led the Cavaliers (4-0, 4-0 CCAL) with 22 points and Aidan Greaney added 10. Colby Cotoia paced the Owls (1-3, 1-3) with eight points.
Francis Scott Key 55, Westminster 53
Highlights: On Wednesday, Ryan Rill converted a put-back layup at the buzzer and the Eagles won their first game of the season. Liam McGrath had a game-high 17 points, Travis Williams added 16, and Rill collected a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Patrick Haynes had 11 points and Mark Chatkin added nine points and eight boards for Westminster.
Liberty 61, South Carroll 47
Highlights: Alex Bull netted 19 points and Jenna Liska scored 11 for the Lions (4-0, 4-0 CCAL). Olivia Reardon and Shannon McTavish had 12 points each for SC (3-1, 3-1).
