Dylan Graham’s 3-pointer helped South Carroll force overtime against Francis Scott Key in boys basketball action Friday night, and in the extra session the Cavaliers took command.

The Cavs prevailed 67-61 in Uniontown behind 15 points from Graham and a game-high 24 from Matthew Gamble. South Carroll improved to 4-5, 2-2 in the county.

Amir Cole had 22 points and Josh Brown added 18 for the Eagles, who fell to 4-4, 2-2.

JV result: FSK, 41-40.

Century 69, Silver Oak 43

Recap: At Eldersburg, Zach Owings led the Knights (8-2) with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Azariah Knox and Justin Wunder each scored 12 points for Century, while Cordell Gray had 10 points for the Rams.

JV result: Century, 57-41 (C-Noah Riley 17).

Gerstell 62, St. John’s Catholic Prep 48

Recap: At Finksburg, the Falcons enjoyed an 18-5 third-quarter advantage and improved to 6-8 (3-1 MIAA B Conference). Anthony Carpenter scored 12 points and Ahmad Harrison had 10.

Girls Basketball

South Carroll 39, Francis Scott Key 37

Recap: At Winfield, Lily Cooper had 11 points and Ashleigh Zepp scored eight for the Cavaliers (5-4, 2-1 county), who trailed by one point at halftime but rallied from there. Bethany Fowler added seven steals for SC. Bailey Mathias scored 12 points and Kennedy Cornick netted eight for FSK (3-6, 1-3).

JV result: SC won.

Wrestling

Man Valley 54, Fallston 27

Recap: At Manchester, the Mavericks (16-5) got pins from Liam Pence (128), Chad Shaffer (140), Adam Mattson (147), and Kyle Mathias (162).
