The Central MD Attitude 2020 team competed in the Black Diamond Championship at Fairleigh Dickinson University on June 23-24, and finished the weekend as the 10th Grade Gold Division Champions in the top division in its age group.

The Attitude went 5-0 in the event by starting 3-0 in Pool Play and outscoring their opponents from New Jersey, New York, and Maryland by a combined 130-48. The team entered the gold championship bracket play with a 47-21 win over a talented New Jersey team in the semifinals.

The championship game matched the Attitude with the undefeated Long Island Lightning Gold team. After a slow start that found the Attitude trailing by 12 points early in the game, the team pulled away in the second half to finish off the Lightning 49-42 for the championship.

The Attitude 2020 is made up of players from Manchester Valley High, Westminster High, South Carroll High, Gerstell Academy, and Hereford High.
