The Carroll Gymnastics competitive teams made a strong showing at the 11th annual Pink Invitational meet Feb. 22-24 in Philadelphia.
The event unites gymnasts in a USA-sanctioned meet where athletes compete in a sport they love while supporting breast cancer initiatives and learning about the importance of lifelong wellness. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event go to caring for the physical and emotional needs of breast cancer patients in local and gymnastics communities.
This year, Carroll Gymnastics families donated $1,901.95 from funds raised through bingo, a cartwheel-a-thon and other team efforts throughout the year. In addition to this extraordinary event, the Carroll gymnasts shined in competition.
