Police said both vehicles were traveling south on Route 140 when Devine lost control of his motorcycle traveling into the lane of the pickup, where he was hit by the truck and thrown from his motorcycle.

The roadway was closed for about two hours for the investigation, police said.

Brown and a passenger were taken to Carroll Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said alcohol is not a factor in the collision.
