Police release sketch of man wanted in Eldersburg robbery

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has released a sketch of the man suspected of a robbery March 15 in the parking lot of the Panera Bread on Georgetown Boulevard in Eldersburg.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has released a sketch of the man suspected of a robbery March 15 in the parking lot of the Panera Bread on Georgetown Boulevard in Eldersburg.

According to police, two females were approached around 8:45 p.m. by a black male, about 30-35 years old and 6-feet tall with short dark hair.

The women told police that the man displayed a handgun and demanded valuables before fleeing towards Lee Avenue, where police believe he entered a vehicle and left the area.

Police said the suspect was seen in the Panera, shortly before the robbery, with a black female, about 5-foot-5 with dark, curly hair.

The Sheriff's Ofiice investigation is ongoing.
