Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Va., has announced the dean's list for the fall semester. Students on the dean's list have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average of a possible 4.0. Noelle DiTommasso, sophomore health and exercise science major, from Hampstead; Kasey Enright, sophomore computer science major, from Eldersburg; Ben McCrickard, freshman global studies major, from Westminster; Rachel McCuller, junior environmental science major, from Union Bridge; Kristy Memphis, freshman communication, technology and culture major, from Manchester; Erin Moberly, sophomore biology major, from Westminster; Sarah C. Riley, freshman business administration major, from Sykesville; Angela Tolomei, freshman history major, from Hampstead; Gina Tolomei, senior athletic training major, from Hampstead; Melanie A. Tutin, sophomore art and communication, technology and culture major, from Westminster; and Zellie Wothers, senior economics major, from Sykesville.

Zachary J. Plank, of Union Bridge, was a fall 2016 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pa., a special mission affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University. Plank earned as Associate of Applied Science, machine tool technology.

Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa. announced its dean's list recipients for the fall 2016 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0. Local students include: Molly Van Leuvan, of Westminster, Winters Mill High School, received Bachelor of Science in early childhood education and special education; Mackenzie Murray, of Finksburg, Westminster High School, pursuing Bachelor of Science in neuroscience; Samantha Bost, of Eldersburg, Liberty High School, pursuing Bachelor of Science in health science; Kristina Maleski, of Mount Airy, South Carroll High School, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in health science; Samuel Peters, of Westminster, Winters Mill High School, pursuing Bachelor of Science in music education; Kara Strack, Taneytown, Francis Scott Key High School, pursuing Bachelor of Science in biology; Hannah Kurek, of Millers, Manchester Valley High School, pursuing Bachelor of Science in early childhood education and special education; Jillian Eastwood, of Westminster, Westminster High School, pursuing Bachelor of Science in exercise science.

Rachael Rockefeller, of Eldersburg, class of 2018, was named to the fall 2016 dean's list at Immaculata University, in Pennsylvania. Dean's list students must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 on a scale of 4.0.

Shelby Hettenbach, from Sykesville, was included on the fall 2016 dean's list at the University at Albany, in New York. Students named to the dean's list earned at least a 3.5 GPA.

The following students qualified for the fall dean's list at Samford University, Birmingham, Ala.: Kayla R. Ecker, of Finksburg; Christina M. VanWingerden, of Keymar; and Blake A. VanWingerden, of Keymar. Dean's list student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's list is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Dylan Adams, of Westminster, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester at Saint Vincent College, Latrobe, Pa. Adams is a senior, pursuing a degree in criminology, law and society. Dean's list students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better out of a possible 4.0.

Amanda Shannon, of Eldersburg, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Shannon is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in biomechanics.

Madison Wilson, of Hampstead, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2016-17 academic year at Augustana University, Sioux Falls, S.D. The dean's list recognizes full-time students who have a minimum of 12 credit hours with grade-point averages at 3.5 or above.

Victoria Kushner, of Westminster; and Jamie Rienhimer, of Manchester, were named to the dean's list at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt. Dean's list students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
