Play Baby Play: 10 a.m. For ages birth-3, with accompanying caregiver. You're invited to a morning playgroup just for little ones. Come enjoy a warm and inviting space where you and your child can play with toys, read a board book, enjoy music, and socialize with others.

Saturday

Kinderconcerts: The Three Little Pigs: 10:30 a.m. For ages 2-7. Join the library for a violin and piano concert followed by a storytime and a chance to explore some instruments yourselves. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Getting Started with Your Genealogy: 2 p.m. For adults. Register for this event. If you have thought about searching for your ancestors but did not know how to start, this presentation will kick off your research with five easy steps.

PBS World Premiere and Scavenger Hunt: 11 a.m. For ages 2-10. Be the first to see the world premiere episode of a PBS kids show. Then search the Finksburg branch to find new hidden PBS friends. Part of the Quality Digital Media Partnership series with WQED-PBS, LittleeLit.com, and Carroll County Public Library. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Saturday

Farm to Fork: 2-7 p.m. For all ages. Join the library for a celebration of the area's agriculture and food. Activities for any age will be available including music by Standard Delivery Combo, making your own butter, milking a goat, exploring tractors, planting seeds, learning about bees and honey, storytime and crafts, wool spinning demo, and a play area for the littlest farmers. The Carroll History Project will also be on hand to collect family farm stories. Call 410-386-4415 or email history@carrollmediacenter.org to schedule an interview. Author event with Rob Kasper at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be on sale from Ruhlman's Brewery, Maggie's of Westminster, and Rita's of Westminster. Farm to Fork Author Event: Baltimore, Baseball, & Barbecue: 4 p.m. For all ages. Celebrate the summer with baseball and barbecue stories. Join Paul Milton, editor of the Carroll County Times, in conversation with author and former Baltimore Sun reporter Rob Kasper about his recent book, Baltimore Baseball & Barbecue with Boog Powell. Talk will be followed by Q&A, book sales and signing. This event is part of Farm to Fork. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. A Celebrating America program.
