Wednesday
Story Pals-Under the Sea: 10 a.m. For ages 2-3. A theme-based story time featuring interactive and age-appropriate stories, songs, finger plays, and activities. With an accompanying caregiver.
Read and Play: 11 a.m. For ages birth-24 months. A story time featuring lap games, tickles, bounces and rhymes followed by a play group for meeting and mingling. With an accompanying adult caregiver.
Weird Science (Reference Center): 2 p.m. For ages 13-adults. Register for this event today. Don't be blinded by Science. Learn all about how to use the Science Reference Center, the library's premium, online Science database, to find up to date, full-text articles from trustworthy, printable sources. Other free library resources will also be discussed in this fun, informal session. All attendees need to register.

Saturday Movie Matinee-Frozen: 1 p.m. For all ages. Beat the summer heat with this cool Academy Award winning family movie. We'll provide the popcorn. This movie is rated PG. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Refreshments will be served.

Chicken Little Was Right–The Sky Is Falling: 2 p.m. For ages 7-adults. Register for this event today. Join Skip Bird, Observatory Director of the Westminster Astronomical Society, as we explore things like comets (by making one), asteroids and the dinosaurs, and any upcoming meteor showers. We will also play Guess the Meteorite. Only kids need to register
Friday
Songs, Stories, & Seniors: 10:30 a.m. For ages 2-adults. Stop by for a fun program filled with bell ringing, stories, and a craft with the Senior Inclusion Program. The Senior Inclusion Program is a group of senior citizens with developmental disabilities who participate in a retirement program at Westminster Senior Center. Come and join us for some great fun. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Sidewalk Chalk Spectacular: 9:30 a.m. For all ages. Add your own creative touch to the Finksburg Branch Library. Join us Mondays this summer to give our walkways some flare and fun. Program is weather permitting. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
