Local Author Fair: 1 p.m. For all ages. Whether you are an avid reader or aspiring writer, the Local Author Fair provides an excellent opportunity to talk with local writers about their books. Come connect with a wide variety of authors and their books and enter to win a Kindle. A Celebrating America program. Refreshments will be served. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

North Carroll Writers Group: 6:30 p.m. For adults. Interested in writing? Want to meet others who are too? The NCWG is dedicated to helping people improve their writing. Each session features a short exercise to focus on a specific writing technique, quiet time to work on your draft, and an opportunity to share your creativity in a non-judgmental atmosphere. If you would like to become involved, please join the NCWG, where your talent and love for writing can develop and thrive.
