North Carroll Senior Book Discussion Group-"All the Light We Cannot See" by Anthony Doerr: 11 a.m. For adults. Please join us for a discussion of this month's book at the North Carroll Senior Center.

Pajama Party Story Time-School Days: 6:45 p.m. For all ages. Wear your pajamas, bring your favorite stuffed animal, and listen to stories before bed. This story time, open to all ages, introduces stories through books, songs, and activities. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Read to a Dog Friend: 6:45 p.m. For ages 4-12. Carroll County 4-H Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Program will bring puppies in training for library friends to read to. Only kids need to register.

Star Wars Spectacular: 10 a.m. For all ages. Come celebrate Star Wars Reads Day III at the library. Drop in between 10 a.m.-noon and try your Jedi skills at a variety of crafts. Whether you are a Wookie, droid, or princess, there will be something for everyone. May the Force be with you. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Come Learn with Me @ the Library-Science: 10:30 a.m. For ages birth-5. Please join us for a play group for children and their caretakers to learn and play together. This special program will feature a variety of play centers and will include time for reading, artwork, lots of play and plenty of surprises, all while building skill development and school readiness. An adult is expected to attend with the child. In partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Westminster.

North Carroll Writers Group: 6:30 p.m. For adults. Interested in writing? Want to meet others who are too? The NCWG is dedicated to helping people improve their writing. We meet semi-monthly to share our work in a non-judgmental atmosphere. If you would like to learn more, please join us.

Move and Learn-Autumn: 10 a.m. For ages 2-6. A theme-based story time featuring an age-appropriate story, songs, and learning activities, with a concentration on creative movement. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Bring Your Own Device & Learn: 7 p.m. For adults. Do you own a smartphone, iPad, e-reader, or tablet and want to learn how to access free digital content through the library? Bring your device in and learn how to download e-books, audiobooks, and magazines to your device in this hands-on program.
