Year-Round Family Story Time-Picnic: 10 a.m. For all ages. An open invitation This weekly story time, open to all ages, introduces stories through books, songs, and activities. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Grow It, Cook It: 6:45 p.m. For all ages. Grow. Cook. Eat. It's that simple and kids can do it too We'll read a fun story and plant some vegetable seeds to watch grow. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Refreshments will be served. A Celebrating America program.

Pajama Party Story Time with Bedtime Math-Special Program-Grow It, Cook It: 6:45 p.m. For all ages. Wear your pajamas, and listen to stories before bed. This story time introduces stories through books, songs, and activities. We'll solve a fun and simple bedtime math problem to help kids learn to love math. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Minute to Win It-Farm Edition: 2 p.m. For ages 8-12. Ever wanted to be on the hit show Minute to Win It? Here's your chance to play Minute to Win It-Farm Edition. Are you up to the challenge of competing against the clock to complete a game in 60 seconds? In MTWI-Farm Edition all the games have a focus of learning a little more about Maryland agriculture, while testing your skills to complete the challenge. The game starts in 3...2...1...GO A Celebrating America program.

Friday

Read and Play: 10:30 a.m. For ages birth-24 months. A story time featuring lap games, tickles, bounces and rhymes followed by a play group for meeting and mingling. With an accompanying adult caregiver.

Monday

North Carroll Writers Group: 6:30 p.m. For adults. Interested in writing? Want to meet others who are too? The NCWG is dedicated to helping people improve their writing. We meet semi-monthly to share our work in a non-judgmental atmosphere. If you would like to learn more, please join us.

Tuesday

Move and Learn-Playground: 10 a.m. For ages 2-6. A theme-based story time featuring an age-appropriate story, songs, and learning activities, with a concentration on creative movement. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Bring Your Own Device & Learn: 7 p.m. For adults. Do you own a smartphone, iPad, e-reader, or tablet and want to learn how to access free digital content through the library? Bring your device in and learn how to download e-books, audiobooks, and magazines to your device in this hands-on program.
