Pajama Party Storytime: Ducks: 6:45 p.m. For all ages. Wear your pajamas, bring your favorite stuffed animal and listen to stories before bed. This storytime introduces stories through books, songs and activities. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Thursday
Family Storytime: Ducks: 10 a.m. For all ages. Share books, stories, rhymes, music and movement in a format appropriate for young children. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Read to a Dog Friend: 6:45 p.m. For ages 4-12. Register for this event. Read to a puppy from the Carroll County 4-H Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Program..

Growing Up Wild: Pond Life: 10:30 a.m. For ages 3-7. Join the library in exploring nature and science with stories and activities. Children age 3 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
North Carroll Writers Group: 6:30 p.m. For adults. Interested in writing? Want to meet others who are, too? The NCWG is dedicated to helping people improve their writing. Each session features a short exercise to focus on a specific writing technique, quiet time to work on your draft and an opportunity to share your creativity in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
Remembering John Hanson: 7 p.m. For adults. Born in Maryland in 1715, John Hanson was a merchant and active public official during the American Revolution. He served as a delegate to the Continental Congress in 1779, and was president of the United States in Congress Assembled from 1781-1782. Join biographer and author Peter Michael as he delves into the history of this first president. Books will be available for purchase and signing after the program. A Celebrating America program.

Move and Learn: Sweet Treats: 10 a.m. For ages 2-6. A theme-based storytime featuring an age-appropriate story, songs and learning activities, with a concentration on creative movement. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Put a spring in your step and join representatives from the Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County for a Walk Carroll event that begins at the North Carroll branch.
