Family Storytime: Shapes: 10 a.m. For all ages. Share books, stories, rhymes, music and movement in a format appropriate for young children. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Amazing Alpacas: 1 p.m. For all ages. Alpacas have increased in popularity in the United States in the last 20 years. They can be delightful livestock pets for families who would like to have gentle animals for children to manage, for teens to feature in 4-H projects, and for adults to learn the wonders and income that can be gained from the fleece that is softer than cashmere, seven times warmer than wool, and hypoallergenic. Come meet a live alpaca from the Alpacas of Maryland farm in Westminster. Alpacas of Maryland has been in business for over 11 years, and was started by a family who had previously only owned cats and dogs. Alpacas of Maryland now breeds champion and blue-ribbon alpacas, and is involved in showing, breeding, fleece production and community events. Questions will be welcomed at the event. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Pajama Party Storytime: Shapes: 6:45 p.m. For all ages. Wear your pajamas, bring your favorite stuffed animal and listen to stories before bed. This storytime introduces stories through books, songs and activities. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Poems for Pancakes: 10:30 a.m. For all ages. Read an original composition or an old favorite and library staff will make a piping hot pancake for you. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be served.
Painted Screens of Baltimore: 7 p.m. For adults. Local artist Anna Pasqualucci will demonstrate the folk art of painting screens and discuss the history and popularity of painted screens in Baltimore.

Come Learn with Me @ the Library: Five Senses Spring Craftivities: 10:30 a.m. For ages 2-5. Join the library for a playgroup for children and their caretakers to learn and play together. This special program will feature a variety of play centers and will include time for reading, artwork, lots of play and plenty of surprises, all while building skill development and school readiness. An adult is expected to attend with the child.
Five Senses Spring Craftivities: 10:30 a.m. For ages 2-5. Bring all of your senses with you to the library and smell, touch, hear, taste and see spring. You will have the opportunity to make fun spring crafts, such as a rainbow streamer plate, flower prints and more. Smell the library's spring-scented playdough, explore spring in a sensory bin, plant a seed and make seed tape to plant in your garden at home. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be served. This program is part of the Come Learn with Me @ the Library series.
Creative Circuits: 2 p.m. For ages 9-15. Register for this event. Explore the playful side of engineering and create simple circuits using snap circuits, squishy circuits and paper circuits. This program is sponsored in part by a Community Arts Development Grant from the Carroll County Arts Council and the Maryland State Arts Council.
North Carroll Knitters Night: 7 p.m. For adults. Knitters and crocheters are all welcome to join this semimonthly gathering to share tips, projects and patterns.
Tuesday
Teen Writers: 7 p.m. For ages 11-17. Teen writers are invited to share their individual writing with others or work together to craft a new story. Writers should be prepared to talk about creating characters, plots, settings and writing processes. Refreshments will be served.
