Heroes of Olympus Hoopla: 3 p.m. For ages 9-15. Register for this event today. Aspiring Olympians, come celebrate the recent release of The Blood of Olympus, book five in Rick Riordan's popular Heroes of Olympus series. Don your toga for games, trivia, and ambrosia. Refreshments will be served.

From Our Table to Yours: Share, Swap, & Take: 9 a.m. For adults. Have an abundance of vegetables, fruits, and herbs from your garden? Consider sharing them with others. On Thursdays during September and October, the lobby of the Eldersburg Branch Library will have a table where you can share items from your home garden. The library encourages community members to share, swap, and take what you are interested in trying.

Read and Play: 9:45 a.m. For ages birth-24 months. A story time featuring lap games, tickles, bounces, and rhymes followed by a playgroup for meeting and mingling. With an accompanying adult caregiver.

This two-hour program will help you analyze your health care needs, compare insurance plans, and apply knowledge learned to make a smart health insurance choice based on what you can afford. You will get a consumer workbook and learn to use tools that will help you feel more confident in making your health insurance choices.

American Girl: Celebrate Josefina: 2 p.m. For ages 6-12. Register for this event today.Bring your American Girl doll or favorite toy to the library for a Mexican fiesta in celebration of Josefina. Refreshments will be served. Only kids need to register. This program is presented in collaboration with the One Maryland One Book initiative of the Maryland Humanities Council.
