Twos and Threes Together: Turtles: 9:45 a.m. For ages 2-3, with accompanying adult caregiver. This lively, fast-paced storytime for young children includes books, songs, fingerplays and movement.

LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Camp: 1 p.m. For ages 8-12. Come learn how to build and program a basic Lego Mindstorms robot. During this camp you will learn how to build a robot and program it using basic programming techniques. You will also learn how to program the touch and light sensors, as well as some additions like displays and sounds. Then see how all your hard work pays off as the robots compete in a sumo wrestling style tournament to see who will be the grand sumo-bot champion. Participants must be able to attend all classes. Classes are from 1-4 p.m on July 13, 14, 15 and 16. Only kids need to register.
Walk in Someone Else's Shoes...The Virtual Dementia Tour: 5 p.m. For adults. Registration required. Join the library for this eye-opening sensory event during which you will experience first-hand the overwhelming effects of the aging process when combined with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. You will become aware of the challenges of performing ordinary tasks persons living with memory loss face every day. After you register, you will be contacted to reserve a specific time between 5 and 7 p.m. for your VDT experience.
Intro to 3D Printing: 6 p.m. For ages 11-adults. Registration required. Explore easy to use open source design tools to create a 3D model and experience the process of printing on our 3D printer.
Crochet 911: 7 p.m. For ages 11-adults. Join Caroline Brocato to learn to crochet. Those who know how to crochet are welcome to join. Bring a size J hook and light-colored yarn to the class.

Stuffed Animal by Day, Superhero by Night: 2 p.m. For all ages. Want to find out what your stuffed animals do all night? Wear your PJs and bring your favorite stuffed animal for this bedtime party featuring superhero crafts, a bedtime snack and great stories. You will also have a chance to leave your furry friend in the library for an animals-only sleepover and come back in the morning to see what your super stuffed friend did all night. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Refreshments will be served. Only kids need to register.

Rockets to the Rescue: 10 a.m. For ages 8-12. Registration required. Become an engineer as you plan and build a paper rocket to bring supplies to a country in need.
Stranger Danger & Bully Protection: 2 p.m. For ages 4-adults. Join Tristar Martial Arts for a demonstration at the Eldersburg branch. Kids will be introduced to techniques that will provide them with the confidence to protect themselves from stranger danger and the courage to stand up against bullies and negative peer pressure. All attendees need to register.

Saturday Storytime: 9:45 a.m. For all ages. Share books, stories, rhymes, music and movement in a format appropriate for young children. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
