Solutions to Joint Pain and Stiffness: 1 p.m. For adults. Register for this event. Do you find yourself slowing down and being side lined because of joint pain and stiffness? Come and learn about some common causes of arthritis and how you can stay in the game of life by caring for your joints. This program will explore some of the current treatments and recommendations for maintaining bone and joint health.

Read and Play: 9:45 a.m. For ages birth to 24 months, with accompanying adult caregiver. A storytime featuring lap games, tickles, bounces and rhymes, followed by a playgroup for meeting and mingling.

Tinker Tots: 10 a.m. For ages 2 to 5. Register for this event. Fun playful activities will engage the mind and body as your child builds his or her fine motor skills and creativity. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Only kids need to register. This program is sponsored in part by a Community Arts Development Grant from the Carroll County Arts Council and the Maryland State Arts Council.

Saturday Storytime: Make Believe: 9:45 a.m. For all ages. A theme-based storytime featuring interactive and age-appropriate stories, songs, fingerplays and activities. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

LEGO Creations: 11 a.m. For ages 5 to adults. Want to build a castle? Or a spaceship? Or something totally new and different? Join the library for a LEGO program where you can build whatever you would like. Parents are welcome to build with their children.

Café Concert with Brian LoPiccolo: 2:30 p.m. For all ages. Local musician Brian LoPiccolo will sing and play the piano in the café area. This is a free concert. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver..

Musical Interludes at Your Library: Love Songs: 2 p.m. For all ages. Enjoy performances by the Carroll County String Project as you relax and browse the library shelves. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Year-Round Family Storytime: Art: 9:45 a.m. For all ages. This weekly storytime, open to all ages, introduces stories through books, songs and activities. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
