On June 9, my life changed again. I heard words that no cancer survivor wants to hear ever again, but I did. This time, the news was much more difficult than when I was 17 years old. At 39 years old, I now have a malignant and aggressive brain tumor. This is something much more delicate and much more challenging to face, but this, unfortunately, is my life right now. I've been given life-changing news, devastating news for my girls and my husband — news that no daughters or spouse would want to hear — but it is the sad reality that my family is facing right now.
