Donald Trump has been criticized for being too outspoken and offensive. He has offended women, minorities, Sen. John McCain and most of the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates. Who would you support: someone who is offensive or someone whose stated policies kill people? For example, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. Scott Walker and most of the Republican candidates, except Trump, would defund Planned Parenthood even though 97 percent of their funding is devoted to women's health screening and contraception. They would also repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) leaving millions of poor women without adequate health care. That translates into tens of thousands of women dying each year because they are denied medical screening and life-saving treatment.
Sen. Rubio, former Gov. Huckabee and Gov. Walker state that they would sacrifice a woman's life to protect the fetus. The debate moderators should ask the candidates whether they would support an abortion if their wives' or daughters' life were on the line. Better yet, let's ask their wives and daughters what they think about sacrificing their lives especially if the pregnancy is due to rape or incest. The Republican candidates are pro-life hypocrites. They support the death penalty. They support a war with Iran where tens of thousands more American soldiers will die. Of course, it won't be their children or grandchildren doing the fighting. They don't believe in affordable health care for women, children and the aged. Dr. Ben Carson wants to abolish Medicare and replace it with a $5,000 voucher. Good luck getting adequate medical coverage for $5,000.
Donald Trump is correct in calling Jeb Bush a puppet. Jeb wasn't sure whether his brother was correct in going into Iraq. Most Americans recognize it for the fiasco it was. Now Jeb blames former President Clinton and President Obama for Iraq's failures and the creation of ISIS. Jeb never mentions that his brother signed an agreement with Iraq to remove American troops by 2009. The reason ISIS exists is that George W. Bush and his emissary in Iraq, L. Paul Bremer, fired the Iraqi army and told them they would never work again. This group reorganized into what is now ISIS.
As Trump said, most of the Republican candidates for president are nothing more than shills for corporate billionaires. Trump should know being a billionaire who gave money to most of the Republican candidates.
