This country is $18 trillion and counting in debt, Obamacare is starting to bankrupt our health care system, illegal immigrants are pouring across our border and Obama is giving them amnesty, people are rioting, drugs are a plague on society, educated people are out of work, foreign countries are hacking our infrastructure, Islamic extremism killed 140 children on Dec. 16 in Pakistan and will do the same thing here, using nuclear, biological or chemical weapons if given the chance, and what has Dianne Feinstein, Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and her liberal Democratic colleagues spent the last five years on more than $40 million doing?

They demonstrated their lack of leadership by looking back, not forward, in time and condemned the CIA for protecting us after 911. Feinstein and her fellow Democrats ignored the Justice Department's investigation that everything done by the CIA after 9/11 was legal, and issued an egotistical 6,700-page report claiming CIA detainees were tortured.

The committee did not speak to anyone in the CIA, not even James Mitchell, the architect of the enhanced interrogation program and the man who waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. This was no more an objective and unbiased report than Nancy Pelosi's health care bill. They simply threw Mitchell and other CIA personnel under the bus for political gain after their defeat in the November elections.

The Democrats cry torture and the liberal media salivates over these claims, including articles in this paper with headlines such as "Torture counter to our beliefs" and "Our failure on human rights" that draw parallels between enhanced interrogation and murdering 3,000 people, as if they were the same. One article stated "the report lays bare the ugly fact that we are not so different from those whom we would condemn for human rights abuses."

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed told Mitchell "you will not win the war on terrorism because your country and the media will turn on you." Isn't it ironic that he know that the liberal politicians and media would turn on the very people protecting them.

If we can't accept the reality that the Islamic extremist threat is real, and that these sick, perverted murderers want to destroy us, and unite to defeat them, instead of pandering to every concern the liberal politicians and special interest groups have, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will be right.
