"Lock her up!" Remember that howl from last year's GOP Convention and throughout the campaign? Indeed, even last week in Alabama the crowd at Trump's rally were still crying for Hilary Clinton to go to prison, nine months after the election. And what did Ms. Clinton do to deserve hard time? As Secretary of State, she used her private email server to conduct official government business. She was cleared twice of any criminal charges, though her use of a private server wasn't good practice. Clinton has admitted as much.
Now, it turns out, six advisors in the Trump Administration are using private email servers to conduct government business. Jared Kushner, the President's son-in-law. Ivanka Trump, the President's daughter. And current or former aides Reince Priebus, Steve Bannon, Gary Cohn and Stephen Miller. Hypocrisy much? I don't hear anyone from Trump's base saying a thing. Well, let me. Lock 'em up!
