Letter: Robert will protect Carroll from reckless growth

Tip O'Neill, long time Democrat, stalwart and political sage stated, "All politics is local."

On June 26, we will vote for our Carroll County commissioner. I would urge all my fellow voters in Carroll County to cast their vote for Frank Robert. The tried and true candidate.

While politics on a national front is often driven by ideology of parties, it is important to remember what Tip O'Neill stated. When casting your vote, regardless of party, it is important to do so for the proven local leader. Our community has seen many challenges over the last decade.

Our beautiful county is not immune from threats such as the national opioid crisis and other challenges our county faces like reckless growth and the everyday challenge of educating our children in a safe environment. Given these times, we should choose a local leader who is willing to roll up his sleeves and with sturdy hands help guide us through these pressing issues. Frank Robert is that leader.

Frank Robert has a proven track record of service to our county. His priority and focus on how to address the growing tragedy of the opioid crisis in our community is strong. Frank Robert will work every day to ensure our schools are safe and our children receive the best education they deserve. He has been endorsed by our county-wide educators. Frank Robert also has a plan for controlled development that ensures that Carroll County remains a desirable location to raise a family. This plan will protect our county from unwanted reckless growth. I will be casting my vote on June 26 for Frank Robert and I ask my neighbors to do so as well.
