Planned Parenthood Funds Campaigns
Harvey Rabinowitz' letter in the April 3 Carroll County Times titled, "Planned Parenthood can't donate money" misses the truth of the matter. The Oct. 5, 2016, edition of Rolling Stone, hardly a right wing publication, reports inside Planned Parenthood's $30 million ground war to stop Trump-Pence particularly in support of Hillary Clinton and former Sen. Russ Feingold in Wisconsin, both of whom lost that year. It further reports that the effort was run by Planned Parenthood's political arms: Planned Parenthood Votes, a super PAC and Planned Parenthood Action Fund, which is structured as a 501C like the NRA.
Rabinowitz also misses the truth when he repeats the claim that abortion represents only 3 percent of Planned Parenthood's spending. That percentage can only be arrived at by creative accounting. Planned Parenthood is the absolute leader in this nation's bloody, multi-million dollar abortion industry. That barbaric procedure is their raison d'etra. They are the national chain store for abortions, and I don't want another penny of my tax dollars going to them.
