On June 28, 2018, Harry H Griffith Sr. wrote that your opinion expressers should stop expressing their opinions. This in itself is part of the complaints against Trump . He wants to silence anyone that disagrees with him. That is the one thing that is great about this country, everyone has the right to express their opinions no matter who you voted for.
As an independent, I get to complain about both parties. I also try to include the things I like about both parties. For instance, as others are faulting Trump for meeting with Kim Jong Un without getting any concessions up front, I applaud him for doing it. This problem has existed for decades while one POTUS after the other continued to set unmet conditions merely for the right to talk with us, all the while North Korea developed the technology to devastate our country. Some say nothing has come of this and I disagree with that also. Prior to the meeting we got political prisoners released. Post-meeting we are getting the return of remains long separated from their native country and relatives. The signs I am seeing that are different from past peace attempts are China is seemingly more willing to assist us this time around and also Kim releasing a video to his people that has been called a propaganda film. Perhaps it could be better termed an anti-propaganda film. With this act Kim has alerted his people that have been convinced to hate (via propaganda) the United States that the time may have come to stop hating and start getting along. I don't think he would have taken that step unless he was more serious this time than the past rulers that have made peace attempts and failed to meet the terms they agreed to. Though I'm optimistic I'll still stick with President Regan's words "Trust but verify."
Now that I have said something nice I would like to say that the party that claims the moral high ground has made a deal with the devil himself. Anyone that lies multiple times daily with some lies that are so obvious they can't be denied, anyone that womanizes and plausibly denies it on an ongoing basis, anyone that routinely demonizes all of the things sacred to most Americans — Democrat, Republican, or Independent — is clearly not morally acceptable to those of us equally religious people even if our religions don't require that we push them on others with different beliefs.
