There is no neutral ground on President Trump or his administration’s policies. The Republican party has split in two groups, those completely, unswervingly for him and his actions, and the rest. These divisions are not superficial, either. They cut all the way to the bone. The president has forced this polarization on his party and the country with his hyperbolic attacks on everyone and everything he sees as opposing any of his positions: South Carolina Republican congressman Mark Sanford had a 73-percent pro-Trump voting record, but that wasn’t enough to keep the president from supporting his opponent, dedicated Trumpist, Kate Arrington. And you’re more likely to find an ostrich egg-sized diamond than a pro-Trump Democrat.
