At the Maryland Professional Photography Association (MDPPA) April print competition, Tammy Thompson was awarded a perfect score of 100 for her portrait "Memories" in the Electronic Imaging category. This is the highest score a print can receive and is rarely handed out. "Memories" also received the Best in Show award for that category. All three judges on the MDPPA print panel stood to shake her hand and congratulated her on such a high achievement.

Thompson is the owner, photographer, and digital artist of Passion Portraits located in Finksburg.
