Sgt. Christopher Sheehan has completed the U.S. Army's Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia, and was awarded the Army's parachutist badge.

Sheehan, currently assigned to the 19th Engineer Battalion in Fort Knox, Kentucky, is being assigned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to attend the Army's Special Forces Qualification Course.

The fourth-generation soldier in his family, he is the son of Jeff Sheehan and Pat Graff, of Westminster, and a 2009 graduate of Winters Mill High School.
