The following are back to school events scheduled this week for Carroll County Public Schools:
Freedom Elementary: Sept. 2, 6:15 to 7:45 p.m., Back to School/Meet the Teacher Night for grades three to five.
Mount Airy Elementary: Sept. 2, 5:30 p.m., Back to School Night, grade four.
Sandymount Elementary: Sept. 2, 7 p.m., grades one through three Back to School Night; Sept. 4, 7 p.m., grades four and five Back to School Night.
Linton Springs Elementary: Sept. 3, 7 to 8 p.m., Back to School Night for grades kindergarten through two and Meet the Teachers, Administration and PTA; Sept. 4, 7 to 8 p.m., Back to School Night for grades three through five, and Meet the Teachers, Administration and PTA.
Manchester Elementary: Sept. 3, 6:30 p.m., sixth annual Maverick Stampede.
Mechanicsville Elementary: Sept. 4, 6 p.m., Ice Cream Social (rain date Sept. 11).
Elmer Wolfe Elementary: Sept. 4, 6:30 to 8 p.m., Back to School Night for grades one, two and five.
Hampstead Elementary: Sept. 4, 6:30 p.m., grade five Back to School Night; 7:30 p.m., grade four Back to School Night.
South Carroll High: Sept. 4, 6:30 p.m., Back to School Night.
Winfield Elementary: Sept. 4, 5 to 7 p.m., Meet the Teacher Night.
Ebb Valley Elementary: Sept. 5, 5 to 7 p.m., Ebb Valley PTA Picnic.
The following is the volunteer training schedule for the beginning of September:
