The cause of a fire Saturday involving seven commercial trucks remained under investigation as of Monday.
Approximately 50 firefighters were called to the 3400 block of Baltimore Blvd. Saturday morning, after a passerby noticed the seven trucks on fire, according to a news release from the State Fire Marshal's Office. It took the firefighters approximately two hours to control the blaze, according to the release.
As of Monday afternoon, the Fire Marshal's Office still did not know what caused the fire or where it began, and the investigation is still ongoing, said Deputy State Fire Marshal Bruce Bouch.
Bouch said he is not sure when the investigation will be complete.
Vehicle fires can be the most difficult to investigate because so much of a vehicle is made from a combustible material, he said.
Bouch said he was not sure what was in the seven trucks when they caught on fire.
