More than 100 golfers participated in the 13th Annual Bass Warrior Open held April 19 at Oakmont Green golf course in Hampstead, raising nearly $13,000.

The event kicked off with the Strong4Sean Foundation donating $5,004 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In the spirit of Sean Bass, the event brings people together for sport and friendship; in memory of Sean Bass, the event raises money to help families facing cancer, to provide scholarships to students who have lost a parent, and to fund leukemia research.
