September Song Musical Theatre is searching for actors for its upcoming performance of "Mary Poppins." The show, directed by Debbie Mobley, will be performed July 31, Aug. 1, 2, 7 and 8 at South Carroll High School, 1300 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville.
They are seeking a cast of adults, teens and children for the musical. Auditions will be held 6:30 p.m. April 10, 1 p.m. April 11 and 2:30 p.m. April 12 at Piney Ridge Elementary School, 6315 Freedom Ave., Eldersburg.
Auditions will be conducted in three parts, music, a reading from the script and dance. Actors should be prepared to sing a song from a musical, with an accompanist or CD without pre-recorded vocal tracks. Actors should dress appropriately to learn a short dance routine. Preparing a monologue is not necessary or requested.
Rehearsals will begin April 27 and run through until the production of the show.
