School bus involved in crash in Gamber

A Carroll County Public Schools bus was involved in a crash on Md. 91 in Gamber Tuesday afternoon.

According to CCPS spokeswoman Carey Gaddis, a special needs bus was involved in the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Md. 91 and Old Gamber Road at approximately 4 p.m.

One student was on the bus and it does not appear that the student was injured, Gaddis said. The student was from Robert Moton Elementary School and has been released to his parents.

Deputies from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office are investigating the crash, Gaddis said.

The CCPS transportation official on scene reported that the two occupants of the passenger vehicle involved in the collision were not transported to the hospital despite an ambulance on scene, Gaddis said.
