Members of the Rolling Clovers 4-H Club exhibited their project work and their livestock at the Maryland State Fair that ended Sept. 1.
Exhibitors and their placings are:
Kyle Lawrence — Senior Champion craft;
Jordan Lawrence — Open Show, Special Award with fudge and two 2nds in canning, and 4-H Show, three 2nds;
Jacquelyn Slade — three 1sts, one 2nd, two 3rds, one 4th, one 5th;
Ben Schildwachter — 1st place 8-year-old bicycle contest;
Gaby Hockensmith — 1st and 4th in horse, 6th in crafts;
Casey Bounds — Grand Champion meat goat, 1st in meat goat fitting and showing, two 1sts with meat goat, plus one 1st, one 2nd and two 4ths in swine;
Autumn Lippy — 1st Production Total Performance Class dairy, two 3rds and one 4th in dairy;
Austin Stoner — 2nd in meat goat, 3rd in swine fitting and showing, one 3rd and one 4th swine, two Grand Champion breeding swine; one Reserve Grand Champion breeding swine plus 10 1sts, five 2nds and two 3rds in breeding swine;
Allison Stoner — 1 Grand Champion breeding swine, 7 1sts and four 2nds in breeding swine, Grand Champion in market swine, two 1sts in swine;
Brooke Bowers — 5th swine fitting and showing;
Ryan Hevner — 2nd sheep fitting and showing, Grand Champion ewe, Grand Champion ram, Reserve Grand Champion ram, Reserve Grand Champion ewe plus six 1sts and two 2nds breeding sheep, one 2nd and one 3rd sheep market;
Marissa Roberts — Intermediate Champion silk flower arrangement, Intermediate Reserve Champion flower arrangement, Intermediate Grand Champion cut flower, Intermediate Reserve Champion cut flower plus 22 1sts,11 2nds and 14 3rd and up ribbons, 1st intermediate fitting and showing, two 1sts and one 3rd with dairy, 2nd place intermediate division reasons in dairy judging, 9th place Guernsey classes in dairy judging, 16th overall individual intermediate, division dairy judging.
Joseph Coshun received champion with his hay entries.
Allison and Austin Stoner, Hannah Hockensmith, Autumn Lippy and Tori Fromm also entered items in the 4-H Building
