The Progressive Clovers 4-H Club met Feb. 9 at Baust Parish House in Tyrone.

The meeting was called to order by the club president, Alexis Adkins, and the 4-H pledge was recited. Secretary Dani Renner called the roll, and guests introduced themselves. A treasurer's report was given.

Old business was discussed. Dates for upcoming Dairy Bowl practices and Tractor Safety classes were announced. Club leader Amy Smith discussed information she gathered for a club skating party at Magic Elm. She will call to finalize a date.

New business was discussed. At the March meeting, the club will make Easter crafts to deliver to Carroll Lutheran Village on Good Friday. Also at the March meeting, those involved with the dairy project will judge the Hoard's Dairyman contest. Orientation for those exhibiting poultry at the fair will be either March 16 or May 6: Attendance at one session or the other is necessary to participate at the fair. Winter livestock judging practices will continue once a month until spring. The club voted to sell sandwiches as a fundraiser.

Following the business meeting, a tutorial was given on using the new 4-H enrollment system.

The next meeting will be March 9. Clovers will meet at 7 p.m., with the regular meeting to follow at 7:30 p.m. at Baust Parish House.
