More than 27,000 visited the 8th annual PEEPshow, which concluded Monday night, raising more than $65,000 for the Carroll County Arts Council.
Audiences voted on their favorite sculptures by purchasing vote chips for $1 each. The sculptures with the most vote chips were declared the Audience Favorites.
"Just Born Goofy," designed by the Mondor Family, took home the grand prize with 4,913 votes.
Runners up in the audience voting included:
1st Place with 2,812 Votes, "Left Shark" by Sydney Blacksten.
2nd Place with 2,698 Votes, "Curious George Plays Peep-a-Boo" by Katrina Dumont.
3rd Place with 2,331 Votes, "OMG Gray Hares" by Hot Looks Hair Design.
4th Place with 2,110 Votes, "Martial Arts Minion" by Tristar Martial Arts.
5th Place, with 1,716 Votes, "Love is All You Need" by Carroll Springs School.
6th Place with 1,555 Votes, "Happy Peepster Plain & Peepnut," by Lia Finch.
7th Place, with 1,520 Votes, "Maryland for the PEEPle" by the Stickles Family.
Abagayle and Emehlia Nelson won the award for best PEEP film with 811 votes for their film "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."
Artistic Excellence Awards
The Carroll County Arts Council decided on the Artistic Excellence Awards, given to sculptures that best represented a variety of categories.

Guess How Many
Angela Carr won the "Guess How Many" competition, where visitors were invited to guess how many Peeps were in a container. Carr guessed 5,031, two off of the actual number of 5,033 Peeps.
